We work with a diverse client group, including individuals, families, businesses and organizations, each with its own set of unique needs. Oftentimes, our clients come to us because they are in need of on-going financial guidance and portfolio management services due to a significant life event such as retirement, inheritance, sale of a business, or residential/commercial property, etc.

As a fee-only registered investment advisor, we are compensated solely by an assets under management advisory fee, paid directly by our clients—nothing more. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any other form of compensation from third parties. This structure ensures our advice is objective and always aligned with your best interests. Our advisory fees range up to 1.35% annually, based on several factors, including but not limited to the scope and complexity of the services provided and the level of assets to be managed.

We do have a minimum. Our services are typically best suited for clients with $250,000 or more in investable assets, but we want to hear your story—please let us know your details during your initial meeting.

Not at all. At Blue Slate, we've designed a streamlined and efficient onboarding process to make your transition as smooth as possible. Our recommended custodian is Charles Schwab, and we’re able to transition clients seamlessly to that platform, with minimal disruption. Every step has been thoughtfully structured to ensure convenience, clarity, and timely execution.
